The Franciscan Foundation welcomes contributions from members of the Franciscan family (Provinces, Congregations, and other members of the three Orders) as well as those in the lay community who wish to support Franciscans and their efforts.

We welcome designated funds, gifts of cash, property, stocks and other secured assets, and land. The gifts may be designated, but as alluded to above, unrestricted gifts allow us to respond to changing priorities, developing needs, and emergency situations.

We seek partners who will embrace the challenge St. Francis received at San Damiano. Together we can continue the work of this little poor man who stripped himself of the trappings of worldly success and honor, embraced the poor and marginalized of his time, sought to reconcile those who lived in opposition to one another, and set in motion a movement that continues to change the world.

In considering our own response, let us ponder some of his last words: I have done what is mine to do. May Christ teach you what is yours.
